Opinion practice: Rugby

A lot of people think that rugby is a really dangerous sport, they also think that rugby is like a kind of war between big monster guys. In fact, it is but it is not as hard as people imagine. It's right that rugby players get a lot of injuries but there is not a big difference with other sports that people really loves to watch like football.

I've played rugby in my city, Orihuela, since I was 15 years old. It is a hard sport and if you want to play it, you have to accept that sometimes you will be hit and get hurt. It gets some time to get used to the hits but once you are used to the hits it doesn't hurt at all. Also, in these 9 years I've been playing rugby, I didn't have any serious injury and I had worse injuries when I was playing football when I was a kid or in normal life at home... The people who plays rugby is also really nice and after every finished game, there is a kind of meeting that rugbiers call "Third quarter". Both teams meet at some bar or something and home team invites the guest team to some drinks and foods.

Rugby is a really funny sport and not much more dangerous than other ones. It could show people that they are braver than they think and also It could help them to reduce stress!

Describe a person: A person who I admire

My favorite sportman is Lewis Hamilton, he is a Formula 1 driver. He is a really hot-blooded person and he can't stand finishing a race in second place. I think his personality is really similar to mine. Also, sometimes, he has problems to control his feelings and he loses his mind. You can feel in these actions that he is a really pure person and he never hides his thinking. Furthermore, I love Formula 1 and he is, in my opinion, one of the best drivers in the business. For all these reason, I admire and support Lewis Hamilton.

The history of the United States of America is the history dominated by power, like the history of the most popular empires. The last conflict against ISIS is now involving other countries like UK. The world was stunned about the videos of American and British journalists being murdered on TV, and these countries decided to respond with some attacks against the Islamic State, but the funny thing is that, with these bomb attacks, They are killing innocent people too. As Lenin said: " The death of one person is a tragedy, the death of millions is simply statistic."

Free esay: My trip to South Korea

That's going to be my first publication in the blog. Today I'm going to talk about my trip to South Korea last August where I really enjoyed. I really like asian culture and people so I've been saving money few years to make my dream come true of visiting South Korea. My dream is living there someday so that's the reason why I started learning languages, I really need to learn korean but I think starting and getting a good level of english would also help me there.



It was my first trip abroad so I was really nervous. Also I went there alone so I experienced a lot of things for the first time last summer, I know it might sound crazy but at the end I realize that It is not as hard as It looks. I had some friends there who helped me a lot! That's some pics in Madrid airport minutes before taking the plane. I was so nervous!!!

Once I arrived there, a friend was waiting for me. I'm really grateful to have a friend in Korea because I don't understand korean language and It was so complex for me to arrive to the hostel.









The food was really good but most of foods were so spicy, I really suffered having some kinds of food because I'm not used to have hot spicy food. Anyway, I specially loved the bbq meats!

I was really impressed with the culture and people. The culture and historical places were so nice, with many kinds of korean palaces and so on. The palaces were amazing and I felt like I was in a different world, the feeling was incredible. In the other hand, the people was also cool. They are so different of occidental people, They were respectful, kind and helpful with me during all my time in Seoul. Funny fact: I'd been in Gangnam street, which made famous the song "Gangnam Style".

But the thing which impressed me the most was Seoul night view. Seoul is alive 24/7 and you can see all the night life style and all the lights who make of Seoul one of the most beautiful night views.

After waiting some years to go to Seoul I was really satisfied with my holidays there. I hope go again next summer and who knows maybe someday live there.
